Villa Merida Hotel
The Villa Merida Boutique Hotel was built in the heart of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula in the 18th century. The Villa was originally twice its current size, but the building was abandoned, and the family was forced to leave because it was no longer able to keep up with the construction work. In 1999, a talented American artist began a meticulous renovation who transformed the Villa in a Nobleman’s mansion. In 2004, The Villas Group converted the mansion into a private Boutique Hotel Residence and a small luxury hotel in the historic Merida’s district. Today, the Villa Merida has seven rooms, all different, making it feel more like a private home than a hotel.
The guest rooms transmit the ambiance of a colonial mansion with a contemporary work of art. In the true spirit of a Boutique Hotel, all the items in the hotel are for sale. When you are inside of the hacienda you just have a feeling of being at home thanks to an amiable and personalized service. In this Residence you will be able to relax around the pool as well as to discover and explore the city’s rich history and culture.
"The Villa Merida will make your trip unforgettable."
